Suspicious fire at Chadstone

FRV firefighters battled a suspicious blaze at Chadstone last night.

Crews were called to Euroka Street at about 10.25pm following Triple Zero (000) calls reporting smoke emanating from a house.

Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find a concrete house with a tin roof ablaze.

Crews searched the house to ensure no one was inside.

They worked quickly to get the blaze under control in less than an hour.

The incident is believed to be suspicious and has been referred to Victoria Police for investigation.
