FRV crews arrived at Livingston Street within six minutes to find a single storey house fully involved in the blaze.

Firefighters searched the home for residents, but found they had safely evacuated prior to FRV’s arrival at the scene.

Crews set up hose lines and fought the blaze for 20 minutes to bring it under control.

At the height of the incident there were seven firefighting appliances at the scene, supported by three additional units.

The fire is believed to be suspicious and the scene has been handed to Victoria Police to investigate.
