FRV crews were called to the Redesdale Road incident and arrived to see fire on the second storey of a house and quickly sought to establish whether anyone was inside.
Thankfully all occupants had evacuated successfully with no reported injuries, and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus begun to suppress the fully involved house with seven pumpers, a teleboom, and a rescue appliance were assisted by specialist and support vehicles.
The incident was brought under control in 33 minutes, and while smoke is visible around Redesdale Road and The Boulevard, there is currently no threat to the community.
FRV was supported by Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria.
