Unit fire at Seddon

Approximately 21 firefighters responded to a unit fire in Seddon on Sunday morning.

A caller to Triple Zero (000) reported the fire at the Geelong Road property just after 9:15am, and believed the occupants were still inside.

FRV crews arrived on scene in five minutes, and wearing breathing apparatus, gained access to knock down the fire.

They located one person, who they rescued and transferred into the care of Ambulance Victoria paramedics.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control within 12 minutes of first arriving on scene.
